Stores Online Success Questions And Answers

Paul asks…

What are some of the best products to sell online?

What are some products that people feel lazy getting from STORES?
What products do you think will be a success in selling online?

MIntel answers:

One of the hottest niche markets on the internet is Weight Loss.
You could promote and sell a weight loss “information product”.

Health related supplements are also very popular.

Good Luck.

Robert asks…

Can a prepaid card (visa/amex) be used to purchase a subscription to Marvel’s online comics?

I don’t mean the marvel prepaid cards, but rather those pre-loaded visa and amex “Gift Cards” they stock in grocery STORES. I have had mixed success in the past with online services, and would rather be sure before buying 1 just for this. I would put it on a credit or debit card, but I enjoy not having my identity stolen too much.

MIntel answers:

Why not?

John asks…

Cheap furniture online?

Does anyone know of a cheap, but good quality furniture store online? I’ve looked at Ikea and Marlo, but I was wondering if anyone else had any success.

MIntel answers:

Try overstock.com, JCPenney.com, SHopNBC.com
I just recently order a small dresser from shopnbc, it was originally priced at $399.00 and I bought it for only $129.00 w/tax and delivery charges included. It’s real wood and designer furniture

James asks…

How can I introduce short stem english daisies and buttercups into my lawn?

I would like to create a lawn full of short stemmed daisies and buttercups like the kind of lawns you see in public parks and schools. Where can I buy the seeds in the UK? Any good online STORES? I have tried looking online with no success. I dont want a ‘meadow’ I want to keep my lawn very short but flowering.

Thanks in advance.

MIntel answers:

Hi Jolancaster
There’s not many sites selling these. I don’t know why. I really like the wildflowers you get in a short lawn as well. They are good for bees, hoverflies and all sorts of beneficial insects, and they look good too. Maybe this sort of lawn will come back in fashion someday soon.
If you look under bellis perennis for daisy and ranunculus acris for buttercups, you’ll get exactly what your after.
I’ve found this site that sells them http://www.wildflowershop.co.uk/

There’s quite a few other short flowering wild flowers you could introduce too. Such as self heal (Prunella vulgaris) and clover (Trifolium ..).

All these seeds sow quite easily, and usually you need little more than sprinkling over your lawn and walking over them to tread them into the thatch – however the seed company wiil give you there own sowing instructions.
Best of luck

CANDY STORES?

looking for articles and links on :

CANDY STORES- looking for success stories on success of candy STORES (retail and online), secrets to success, how they started, challenges, costs, etc.

MIntel answers:

A franchise of NYC candy stores multiplied overnight when they started to offer Tasti-D-Lite ice cream. In 2000, there was only one Sweet Town and one Sweet & Sour Corp in mid-town. Today there are over 16 locations–just in Manhattan–not to mention the 30 Tasti-D-Lite stores, which do not offer candy items.

Half of the candy stores are Israeli owned and the other half Indian owned. Most have a few tables inside, all stores know their customers by name and they offer free treats for every 10 purchases.

The majority of patrons go for the Tasti-D-Lite, which was featured on “Seinfeld” and “Sex In The City”. But once inside, the customers can’t resist the huge assortment of chocolates, candy and nuts. The stores also sell balloons, Beanie babies and other gift giving accessories.

I can’t help you with the technical business aspects; however, I’ve never seen stores flourish like this. They are always busy from 10:00 AM until 11:00 PM. I’m sure you could get more info from contacting them directly.

Below is the Tasti-D-Lite web address. Click on locations to obtain the contact information for the various candy stores I’ve mentioned. My Best To You!
