Expedited submission to Yahoo versus free submission: worth the money?
I have a photo blog that I want to submit to the Yahoo Directory. Yahoo offers free submission consideration, but doesn’t provide a time frame when they’ll consider or list your site; it offers a $299 fee per year to expedite the request to include a site in the directory, claiming they’ll consider it ASAP. Has anyone had experience with submitting in any of these two categories and what do you recommend? I’m pretty sure my site will be accepted; it’s been accepted everywhere else.

i am a webpage devloper but im not perfect in SEO and not successed in google pagerank my no sites is above 0 i dont know what is happeing to me
actuly i m doing in joomla and wordpress site and manually i learned many SEO pdf books also but
i konw back link are very imp but
i dont knw how is it possible to back link for freee dint get any site with high page rank for free

You need to do some search engine optimisation (SEO). There are tonnes of articles on the internet about this. I’d describe it as an art rather than a science! Also I would be very careful about paying for some of the services you see advertised.
There are lots of techniques but I would say some top simple tips would be :
- Get as many inbound links that use your key search phrase in the link text
- Make the most of social networking and bookmarking
- Get a sitemap to tell the top search engines about all your pages
- Get listed on dmoz.org
- Put the word about….forums, blogs, twitter, etc
